The visually impaired cricket team of the Cricket Association for the Blind Jammu and Kashmir (CABJK) delivered a stellar performance at the Helen Keller Cricket Challenge Cup for the Blind, held from June 25 to 27 in Faridabad. Their crowning moment came in the final match against Himachal Pradesh, where they secured a dominant victory.

Chasing a target of 177 runs, J&K displayed remarkable batting prowess, sealing the win in just 17.3 overs. Sahil and Manpreet Singh played crucial roles, scoring 76 runs off 56 balls and 68 runs off 41 balls respectively. Their exceptional partnership propelled J&K to a well-deserved triumph.

Throughout the tournament, Manpreet Singh showcased outstanding consistency, earning the prestigious Man of the Tournament award. Meanwhile, Sahil’s match-winning knock against Himachal Pradesh earned him the Man of the Match title.
